After finishing high school, a friend introduced me to a small air conditioning company where I started as a helper. At that time, I wasn’t passionate about the work and felt uncertain about my future. Seeking guidance, I turned to my older brother—an experienced HVAC engineer working for a major contractor. He had been involved in the construction of Hong Kong’s tallest building, the 103-storey, 454-meter International Commerce Centre (ICC). His experience and encouragement opened my eyes to the potential of this industry.
Motivated by his advice, I decided to give the HVAC field another chance. That marked the beginning of what I often call my “hell life”—working as a technician during the day and studying engineering at night. It was a challenging period, but it taught me discipline, endurance, and commitment.
After several years of hard work, I earned a degree in Building Services and Sustainable Engineering. With this foundation and my hands-on experience, I was entrusted with managing large-scale projects for top-tier companies.
Over the years, I’ve led HVAC projects for high-end developments, including 5-star hotels, hospitals, and large-scale mixed-use buildings that combine shopping malls, offices, and residential spaces.
These experiences have shaped me into a versatile and detail-oriented HVAC professional. I’m proud to handle projects from initial design all the way through installation and commissioning. I believe the HVAC industry will continue to grow and evolve, and I’m committed to delivering excellence through innovation, integrity, and quality craftsmanship.
This is my story. – Frankie
